The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Sr. Director of Data to lead Dynatron’s data organization and ensure data delivers measurable business impact across the company. This is a senior leadership role responsible for strategy, prioritization, and people leadership across Data Engineering, Product, and Data Science functions.

You will own the data roadmap, operating model, and outcomes, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and executive leadership to ensure data initiatives directly support business objectives. This role works in close collaboration with the architects, who serve as the senior technical authority, allowing you to focus on organizational leadership, execution, and impact.

What You’ll DoData Strategy & Business Alignment
  • Own and execute Dynatron’s data strategy and roadmap aligned to company and product priorities.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable data initiatives.
  • Ensure data investments drive adoption, trust, and measurable outcomes.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science.
  • Set clear expectations, establish accountability, and foster a culture of execution and continuous improvement.
  • Own hiring, performance management, and career development for the data organization.
Execution & Delivery
  • Ensure data initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
  • Establish operating rhythms, KPIs, and success metrics across the data organization.
  • Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform and capability development.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Act as a trusted partner to Product and Engineering.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Governance, Trust & Operations
  • Own data governance, quality, privacy, and compliance outcomes across the organization.
  • Ensure teams follow standards for reliability, security, and responsible data usage.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and resourcing plans.
What You BringLeadership & Management Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or platform roles, with 5+ years leading teams.
  • Proven experience scaling teams and operating data organizations in SaaS or high-growth environments.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and distributed teams.
Technical Credibility
  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, architectures, and workflows.
  • Experience with platforms such as Snowflake or Data Bricks is necessary.
  • Ability to challenge technical decisions constructively without being hands-on day-to-day.
  • Experience partnering effectively with senior technical leaders.
Business & Communication Skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Excellent communicator who can align technical teams and executives around shared goals.
  • High integrity, ownership mindset, and bias toward action.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $210,000 - $245,000
Bonus Potential: 20%
