Position OverviewThe Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for meeting with homeowners, inspecting roofs, generating estimates, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact to project close.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a field-based sales environment and values transparency, follow-through, and strong customer relationships. Candidates must be confident in themselves, able to handle rejection, and willing to consistently work through and overcome customer objections to earn their business. This position offers a very strong six-figure earning potential opportunity for both W2 and 1099 candidates.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform roof inspections and assess homeowner needs
Generate accurate estimates and present solution options
Educate customers on roofing systems, materials, and process
Work both retail and insurance claim projects, including meeting with adjusters and helping homeowners navigate the claims process when applicable
Manage follow-up communication and maintain pipeline activity
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
Work company-provided leads while also generating your own opportunities through self-sourced leads and referrals
Previous sales experience preferred; roofing or construction experience is a plus. We will train the right candidate from the ground up
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage time and responsibilities independently
Comfortable working outdoors and climbing ladders
Valid driver’s license required
A genuine desire to help customers and guide them to the right decision for their home
Must be technologically literate, as all systems and processes are handled electronically
W2 Position (For the Right Candidate):
Vehicle Option 1: Company vehicle provided (must be insurable), with gas, tolls, and maintenance covered
Vehicle Option 2: Use your own vehicle with weekly vehicle reimbursement provided
Guaranteed weekly base pay plus commission
Very strong six-figure earning potential opportunity

1099 Outside Sales Representative:
100% commission-based (higher commission structure)
Must have own vehicle
Must obtain or have an active LLC and workers comp exemption
Greater income potential based on performance
Flexible schedule with full independence in the field
Monday through Friday (most appointments scheduled at 9 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM)
Additional evening or weekend appointments as needed
This is a field-based position requiring travel throughout Central Florida to meet with homeowners and perform inspections.
