The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Responsible for the administration and clinical operations of the Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center and oversees functions of all departmental staff in accordance with hospital and department procedures, mission and goals. Provides services to adults and is available for crisis consultation and management and coordination with outside practitioners. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Ensure that the department is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Master’s Degree in a human service field and five (5) years experience in mental health services, with two (2) years supervisory experience or possess a professional credential, such as: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional counselor, Licensed Associate Counselor, Licensed rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, Advanced Practice Nurse OR Master of Science in Nursing with the requisite number of years of experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver’s License.
