About the Role:
As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by expertly preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. You will engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. This role requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of lifting and carrying heavy items. Ultimately, your contribution will enhance the overall dining experience, supporting the establishment's reputation for quality and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift/carry heavy weights safely.
- Strong guest service skills with a professional and groomed appearance.
- Capability to stand for long periods during shifts.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in fine dining establishments.
- Knowledge of a wide range of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent).
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent guest service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
