Compensation and Position Classification for Collections Supervisor: Pay Range: $50,000 - $57,000 DOE, Exempt classification, paid biweekly plus quarterly incentives.

What You’ll Do as the Collections Supervisor

You’ll oversee all bankruptcy, repossession, and foreclosure activities, ensuring everything is handled with precision, compliance, and respect for our members. The Collections Supervisor is accountable for shaping loss mitigation strategies to managing vendors and resolving complex cases, and you’ll own the full lifecycle of collections operations. You’ll also champion risk management and compliance, maintaining strong controls, accurate reporting, and continuous team training—all while protecting the organization’s assets and reputation.

What We’re Looking for in a Collections Supervisor

We’re seeking a leader who sets clear expectations, follows through, and isn’t afraid to hold others (and themselves) accountable. The ideal Collections Supervisor has a strong sense of integrity and a commitment to ethical practices, paired with the confidence to make sound decisions. You're confident in coaching a team of A-players, address performance head-on, and create a culture where results and respect go hand in hand. If you’re driven to maintain strong asset quality, control expenses, and minimize losses through disciplined execution—and you’re motivated by leading a team that wins together—this role was built for you.

Required Experience: At least two (2) to five (5) years of similar or related experience with banking or credit union. Progressive collections and supervisory experience preferred.

Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Why the Collections Supervisor Role Matters: The Collections Supervisor role owns the end-to-end strategy for loss mitigation, vendor management, and case resolution while protecting the credit union’s assets and reputation. Risk management and compliance are central to collections team, with a strong focus on ethical practices, controls, reporting, and ongoing team training.

Collections Supervisor Location & Hours Onsite in our Tyler, TX Administration Office. Monday - Friday work hours availability 7:45 AM to 6 PM, plus occasional weekends when business needs require.
