Position Information
The Supervisor - Mental Health Research (CREER) will work closely with the Research Center Manager, Department Chair and partners to help coordinate and support research grants. The position is responsible for and is critically important to the overall operational management of clinical research activities. The incumbent will assist the principal investigator (PI) in implementing a diverse portfolio of research activities for one or more studies which may include multicenter clinical trials (both NIH and industry-sponsored), local investigator-initiated clinical trials, and/or programmatic clinical research activities, such as a clinical database and biorepository. Within these efforts, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring IRB approval and compliance, assisting post-award with subcontract generation, submission and management of vendor and consultant contracts, supervising staff overseeing subject recruitment, enrollment, data collection, and maintenance of data and data systems.The full salary range for this position is $84,100 - $154,700 annually. However, the expected pay for this position is up to $101,750 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
