Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated culinary professional to lead and support our kitchen operations, with a primary focus on our Bar & Grill food service. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations for the Bar & Grill, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Work actively on the line, leading by example during service and maintaining high culinary standards
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive and accountable team culture
  • Manage inventory levels, including tracking usage, minimizing waste, and maintaining accurate records
  • Order food, supplies, and kitchen products in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Create and execute menu specials that align with seasonal availability and customer preferences
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and operational efficiency
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning, cost control, and operational improvements
  • Provide support to banquet kitchen operations as needed, ensuring seamless execution of events

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a high-volume kitchen, including line cooking experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a culinary setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and inventory management
  • Ability to train and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Experience with banquet or event service is a plus
