Steep Slope Roofer MD - Experienced at GSM Roofing – Elkton, Maryland

Removal & installation of new and existing roof systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Job set up
• Roof removal
• Material layout
• Material installation
• Understand and follow instructions
• Have understanding and knowledge of the basic use of hand tools
• Set up scaffold framing and planks
• Push loaded wheel barrows
• Pull loaded tear off carts
• Use hand tools to remove roofing
• Clean roof and grounds

Qualifications:

• Speak and understand English
• Previous outdoor experience preferred in construction or roofing
• Knowledge and use of hand, power & motorized equipment
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Ability to understand and follow customers' and GSM safety practices
• Valid driver’s license

Machines/Tools/Equipment:

• Hand tools

• Specialty tools: hot luger, felt layer, kettle, hot air welding equipment

Working Conditions:

• Outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Significant travel to job sites.
• In a normal workday, the employee must be able to stand approximately 7+ hours
