This role is focused on expanding access to innovative healthcare solutions within the gastroenterology space, driving adoption of digital and clinical support tools that improve patient outcomes and streamline prescription management. You will own the full sales cycle, engaging with large medical groups, health systems, and specialty practices across the country. The position requires a consultative, relationship-driven approach to building trust with clinical and executive stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping national growth by identifying opportunities, closing strategic deals, and supporting onboarding processes. Working in a remote, fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams across sales operations, clinical support, and strategy. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences healthcare access and patient experience at scale.
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across gastroenterology groups, health systems, and large medical organizations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting through presentations, negotiations, contracting, and onboarding.
- Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and capability overviews to key clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across healthcare organizations to drive long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including sales operations, account management, and operations to ensure alignment and execution.
- Track pipeline activity, sales performance, and forecasting using CRM tools to ensure accurate reporting and visibility.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events to build market presence.
- Maintain deep understanding of gastroenterology workflows, challenges, and evolving healthcare needs to tailor solutions effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or pharmacy sales.
- 5+ years of experience in gastroenterology-focused pharma sales preferred.
- Experience selling into enterprise healthcare organizations or health systems strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare sales principles, account management, and complex sales cycles.
- Proven ability to develop national-level pipelines and manage remote sales processes independently.
- Ability to build new territories and develop market presence from the ground up is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with executive and clinical stakeholders.
- Strong self-management, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.
