Housekeeper – Full Time

Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor
Classification: Non‑Exempt

We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. This role includes cleaning resident rooms and common areas, completing laundry tasks, and supporting overall facility cleanliness.

• Clean resident rooms, community spaces, and work areas to meet health and safety standards
• Sweep, mop, dust, sanitize bathrooms, and clean floor coverings and furniture
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure all areas are free of odors and debris
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines, and other tools
• Follow all safety and standard precaution guidelines
• Use cleaning chemicals and materials safely and as directed
• Complete laundry duties as needed
• Assist staff with meal service and meal delivery
• Transport linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies using carts; keep storage areas organized
• Replenish cleaning and bathroom supplies
• Move and arrange furniture; turn mattresses as needed
• Protect resident and guest property; report any damage, theft, or found items
• Prepare rooms for meetings or events, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment
• Use proper lifting techniques and safe work practices
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and respond to resident needs promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills for mixing cleaning solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to exchange information accurately

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work safely and remain alert throughout the shift
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others
