Job Description
Fitness/Spa Attendant
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our clients.
- Ensures the "5 Diamond Experience" by maintaining the standards set in the NFC Amenity Management Mission Statement.
- Perform a facility walk-through every 15 minutes to ensure all equipment is in working order and the area is orderly.
- Completes daily shift reports and any other mandatory reports.
- Responsible for a thorough understanding and effective performance of NFC Management Software.
- Maintain and organize the work area.
- Responds to all requests and follows through to assure satisfactory outcome.
- Offers client assistance whenever possible.
- Complies with all safety and security policies set by NFC Amenity Management.
- Involves cross-training in other areas of operations.
- Book all spa and personal training appointments promptly.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests using NFC-approved terminology.
- Open and close the fitness center facility at the beginning and end of operating hours.
- Maintain general cleanliness of the exercise areas, fitness equipment, spa, and locker rooms.
- Abides by NFC grooming standards.
- Gracefully enforces rules and regulations.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must have an outgoing personality.
- Must be hospitality-driven and offer any necessary assistance to clients and guests.
- Must be able to adhere to a work schedule by arriving on time and wearing the proper uniform.
- Must possess the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & Internet.
- Professional phone skills.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Effective communication skills and engaging positively with clients.
