Job Description
The E-Commerce & Social Media Specialist applies knowledge of digital marketing, e commerce, and AI enabled marketing technologies to support e commerce and multichannel initiatives. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing social media strategies and content across multiple platforms, utilizing both tactical execution and AI assisted tools to optimize engagement and sales. This is a hands-on position that plays a key role in leading strategy, creating compelling content, managing online communities, and demonstrating a return on investment for social media and digital marketing efforts. Secondary responsibilities include executing e mail and SMS campaigns using Urchin Tracking Modules (UTMs), segmentation, personalization, predictive insights, and automation; supporting paid media efforts; and assisting with website content updates that drive traffic and revenue. Uses analytical and AI driven tools to evaluate performance across e mail, SMS, social media, website, and paid media channels to maximize results and inform continuous optimization.

Knowledge of: Klaviyo (or other e‑mail/SMS platforms); Hootsuite; Meta Business Manager; Instagram, Facebook, TikTok; AI-enabled marketing and content tools (e.g., generative AI for copy, imagery, and ideation); content creation best practices; PPC concepts; data analytics and AI assisted reporting tools (GA4 preferred); basic HTML for digital content; Magento 2.2 CMS; B2B and B2C e‑commerce workflows; end‑to‑end digital marketing automation and customer engagement.
Skill in: E mail and SMS marketing execution; organic social media management and community engagement; supporting paid media initiatives; using AI tools to accelerate content development, personalization, and testing; analyzing marketing data to identify trends and AI generated insights and optimization opportunities; coordinating cross channel campaigns; creating on brand digital content; organizing projects, managing deadlines, and communicating effectively with internal and external partners.
Ability to: Apply A/B testing, segmentation, personalization, and AI driven optimization strategies to improve campaign performance; ensure consistent messaging and creative alignment across digital channels; interpret analytics and AI generated insights to generate actionable insights; maintain accurate and timely content updates within Magento; collaborate cross functionally to support integrated, data driven marketing initiatives; and exercise sound judgment in the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in E-Commerce and digital marketing. Professional experience with implementing social media strategies. Experience using AI-enabled marketing or content tools is strongly preferred.

- Sets the vision and manages overall content strategy and social performance aligned with the organization’s goals, values, and target audiences both internally and externally. Leverages AI assisted content ideation, trend analysis, and performance insights to enhance relevance and efficiency. Stays updated on the latest social media trends and evolving AI capabilities that matter to our audience(s), as well as platform best practices, to ensure a competitive edge.
- Collaborates with cross functional departments, Councils, volunteers, stakeholders, and external partners to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives, including the responsible and effective use of AI driven tools and workflows.
- Monitors social media channels for potential reputation risks and emerging sentiment using both manual review and AI supported social listening tools and addresses them promptly. Develops crisis communication protocols and collaborates with the communications team to manage sensitive situations effectively.
- Builds, schedules, and optimizes e mail and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo, using UTMs, segmentation, dynamic personalization, AI supported send time optimization, A/B testing, and mobile first best practices to drive engagement and sales.
- Supports paid media efforts by assisting with campaign coordination and performance analysis, including the use of AI driven insights for audience targeting and optimization, and integration with broader marketing initiatives.
- Assists with website content updates in Magento, ensuring accuracy, promotional readiness, SEO optimization, and alignment with ongoing marketing campaigns, leveraging AI tools where appropriate to enhance efficiency and content quality.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
