This position is based out of St. Louis, MO, and is a full-time, 100% in-office role.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead System Development: Prepare customer-specific case studies derived from routes, volumes, and operational profiles specifically for DoD rail shipment requirements.

Requirements Management: Translate DoD logistical and interface requirements into verifiable system architectures and technical specifications.

Project Execution: Develop pre-project approval documents including project charters, management plans, and milestone schedules for defense applications.

Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify risks related to military logistics operations, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Technical Support: Provide expert technical customer support and establish rapport and acceptance with DoD stakeholders and military rail operators.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams to communicate "voice of the customer" feedback regarding defense-specific needs.

Operational Reporting: Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive technical updates to both internal leadership and external DoD stakeholders.

Team Dynamics:

Work within dynamic teams of 3–10 members on diverse projects.

Foster excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Adapt to evolving project objectives and requirements as breakthrough technology is deployed.

Engage in occasional domestic travel (up to 50%) for customer site visits, demonstrations, and military site interactions.

Why Join Us?

Career Growth: Develop your career with a forward-thinking company dedicated to transforming rail technology.

Innovative Environment: Contribute to groundbreaking projects that bridge the past and future of rail transport.

Impactful Work: Be a key player in creating solutions that promote a more sustainable, secure, and efficient rail network for both commercial and defense needs.

About You: Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science.

1–3+ years of experience in managing engineering projects.

Direct experience in technical sales or project engineering specifically related to DoD logistics or rail shipments.

Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise and develop innovative approaches.

Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment as an individual contributor.

Fluent in both written and verbal English.

U.S. Person (immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Candidate should have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below:

Experience in directly applicable industry or projects, such as Rail, Electric Vehicles, or Unmanned Systems.

Knowledge of North American military rail transport protocols and DoD logistics frameworks.

Demonstrated experience working on project teams and collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Experience working in Agile environments for hardware and software development.

Typical Education and Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Relocation: This position offers a competitive relocation package for qualified candidates.

Equal Opportunity Employer: Intramotev is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
