DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTANT

JOB SUMMARY:

• Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain the general ledger for new development companies and construction projects.
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with independent audits
• Complete loan draws and construction invoice submittal and tracking.
• Monthly financial and cash-flow analysis
• Operating Budget preparation and reviews
• Other job duties as assigned, including distribution of monthly financial and statistical statements, property tax filings, and maintaining the Accounting Manual.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed BS degree in business administration, business management, finance, and/or accounting. 1-2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Construction/Development accounting a plus.
• Proficiency in use of Excel spreadsheet and a 10-key calculator.
• Must possess business knowledge and application of general accounting principles.
