Licensed Practical Nurse (LN II) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are looking for a bright ,energetic LPN who loves children. She will be working in the Ruston Pediatric Clinic with Dr. Langiulla and a nurse practioner. They are a busy pediatric clinic that provides care to the local community and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong work ethics, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail , flexibility, dependability, and processes and excellent communication skills. The LPN will be familiar with pediatric protocols. Medication/Vaccine management, VIS and storage of vaccines. They will need to know the lab process, lab draws, proper labeling of specimens, knowledge of lab tubes. They will perform waived testing such as strep, flu and COVID swabs. Her job will include but limited to :EKG's, taking vital signs, measuring , recording and maintaining growth and development charts, answering/returning phone calls, refills, scheduling tests and procedures as ordered. Hospital and departmental orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, as well as training on the enterprise management system. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am through 5:00 pm.
