Job Description:

The Host greets guests upon arrival, manages the waitlist and seating assignments, and assists with reservations. This position ensures a welcoming first impression and coordinates communication between the front-of-house team and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and record names on the waitlist as necessary
• Manage seating assignments and escort guests to their tables
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to servers and managers
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide accurate wait times
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front entry
• Monitor dining room activity and update seating chart regularly
• Assist with menu explanations and promotional information
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service at all times
