Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician in SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts at BREAKAWAY RETAIL ENTERPRISES

Manny's Appliances is looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to assist with warehouse operations, appliance deliveries, installations, and troubleshooting. This position requires flexibility, as daily responsibilities can change based on operational and customer needs.

Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday–Saturday

Pay: $22–$25/hour for warehouse duties and $25 per stop for delivery days.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, stage, and prepare appliances for delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
• Assist with appliance deliveries, unloading, and installations.
• Install household appliances, including refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and ranges.
• Troubleshoot installation issues involving plumbing connections, drainage, electrical connections, and appliance functionality.
• Travel to customer homes as needed to complete installations, make adjustments, or resolve installation concerns.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment.
• Adapt to changing priorities and assist wherever needed throughout the day.
• Occasionally operate a 26-foot box truck when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Appliance installation experience required.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge required.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing tasks and priorities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card required.
• 2 years of box truck driving experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs. with assistance and equipment.
