About This Position
Job Summary:
The Research Laboratory Technician Compliance Coordinator ensures laboratory compliance with clinical research protocols by developing and maintaining accurate study templates and documentation. This role involves reviewing protocols, implementing updates, and supporting data integrity through quality control activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Review and comprehend the research study protocol.
Develop and maintain study templates in laboratory software per protocol requirements.
Ensure all protocol requirements have been captured on templates.
Assess protocol for discrepancies or questions to ensure accurate source documents and forms are created.
Assess and update forms for protocol amendments, protocol clarification letters, or laboratory manual and memo updates.
Assess and update templates when issues are identified during patient treatments.
Participate in quality control activities to ensure data integrity, including timely responses to database or sponsor queries
Minimal Travel (<20%) required.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledgeable of standard research practices.
Effective communicator.
Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Attention to detail, organized and accurate in work product.
Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in the Sciences. Certification is not required.
Oncology clinical trial experience preferred.
