Position Description: We are hiring a dedicated Mammography Technologist for a full-time role at East New York Gotham. The technologist will play a crucial role in supporting early breast cancer detection through the use of cutting-edge diagnostic imaging systems. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute screening and diagnostic mammograms under physician direction

Prepare exam rooms, calibrate equipment, and verify patient information before imaging

Maintain patient comfort and privacy at all times during the exam process

Ensure accurate documentation, image labeling, and archiving

Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure diagnostic quality

Participate in continuing education and departmental compliance audits

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Valid ARRT certification in both Radiography and Mammography

Active NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 1 year of professional experience in mammography

Solid understanding of digital mammography systems, anatomy, and imaging parameters

Strong organizational, communication, and clinical assessment skills

Ability to adapt to patient-specific needs and demonstrate cultural competence
