Gifford Retirement Community is seeking a per diem Activities Specialist to work in our Menig Nursing Home.

Are you interested in coordinating fun recreational programs for our resident population? The Activities Specialist position could be for you. This position assists with planning and implementation of engaging activities to meet our senior population interests. The Activities Specialist is an essential member of our community always ensuring an environment of inclusion, support, and spontaneity.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent Demonstrated interest in working with seniors Previous experience in Long Term Care setting preferred, but we will train the right candidate Strong time management/organizational skills Ability to multitask and communicate professionally and effectively Passion for maintaining positive attitude and a desire to enrich the lives of our senior population.
