Responsibilities

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for FGFD Business development with focus on new energy market to grow MSA safety instrument’s market share and meet customers’ satisfaction in China. This position will also be assisting FGFD Sales Director to formulate and implement segment sales strategies, polices and big project tracking process for international key accounts including FEED, EPC, global key accounts etc. and relative outstanding projects in international market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Leads Generation:
  2. Actively support marketing activities related to leads generation, which might include but not limited: Virtual, F2F, exhibitions, webinars, etc.
  3. Use digital tools to seek for potential contacts, project opportunities and market information.
  4. Be active supporting on brand awareness activities on digital platform, social media and any other company tools available.
  5. Identify potential active projects and create a defined roadmap of early engagement with all the stakeholders.

And

  • Projects:
  • Maintain and develop relationships with major international/domestic End-Users, FEED Consultants, EPC Contractors and System Integrators RELATED to new energy market.
  • Find, collect, track, coordinate project information in every stage of project progress, like FEED, Basic and Detailed Designs to showcase our product technology and system capabilities to push and spec-in our products
  • Projects follow up and reporting on all projects relating to new energy market.
  • Tracking in the Sales Force under new energy
  • Sales activities and support:
  • Identify key contacts within each customer location and build strong business relationships to obtain framework contracts for key accounts and outstanding projects.
  • Clearly define and understand subsegment under new energy and put focus on those segments where there are maximum investment and activity.
  • Utilize and integrate with the FGFD front end sales team and FGFD sales leader.
  • Work with inside sales team during strategic project bid
  • Align MSA GTM strategy through distributor by either establishing new channels or integrate with competent channels focus in new energy with clear metrics.
  • Others:
  • Provide constant feedback on the new energy market and execute active actions on new potential business in the area.
  • Cooperate and work with other BDM in the team to improve the global market penetration, international projects and sales support functions.
  • Keep updated with the FGFD technical knowledge and connect across different function of MSA like Marketing and Service to upkeep on market awareness, programs and after-sales support refreshed relevant.
  • Keep the business updated with competitors’ activities and market intelligence.
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Develop business relationship with the counterpart department of global key account/EPC.
    2. Undertake project work as and when required with engineering department and aftersales team to ensure accounts’ satisfaction.
    3. Perform other duties as required or assigned.


    Qualifications

    Required Education/Experience
    1. Bachelor’s degree or above with a major in engineering, instruments, basic science or equivalent required.
    2. 10+ years’ experience in automation/instruments sales and international key account development.
    3. 5+ years foreign company working experience with strong English communication skill.
    4. CRM sales force knowledge or experience
    Specialized Knowledge/Skills
    1. Proven sales and management background in automation/instruments market and gas detection application.
    2. Highly effective leadership, management, and communication skills. Should have vibrant learning curve and adaptability to new way of thinking and approaches.
    3. Excellent client orientation around problem-solving and delivering results.
    4. Ability to work in and maintain performance expectations in high-pressure environment.
    5. Thorough knowledge of MS Office.
