🩺 The Role

We are seeking a part-time, licensed nurse practitioner to join our clinical team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting remote prescribing of Durable Medical Equipment (DME)—specifically VR headsets used for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic applications.

This position is fully remote, with flexible hours. It’s ideal for a nurse practitioner seeking supplemental, mission-driven work in digital health.

🔍 Responsibilities

• Review patient intake forms and clinical documentation. Complete short intake sessions with patients.

• Evaluate medical necessity for DME (VR devices) used in therapy programs.

• Electronically prescribe DME in compliance with payer, federal, and state regulations.

• Collaborate with XRHealth’s clinical and operations teams to streamline remote prescribing workflows.

• Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.

🎓 Qualifications

• NP or APRN with an active medical license in multiple states. Preferred states include: CA, TX, FL, NY, MI

• Experience with remote care, telemedicine, or digital health platforms preferred.
• Experience with pain management, managing chronic conditions.

• Knowledge of DME prescribing regulations and/or behavioral health protocols is a plus.

• Comfortable using EMR/EHR systems and e-prescribing platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and professional integrity.
