Boardwalk Investments Group, LLC ("Boardwalk") is a privately held commercial real estate investment company. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California. The Firm currently manages a commercial real estate portfolio comprised of retail, mixed-use, office and multifamily assets located primarily in Orange County, California and is led by a seasoned management team with over 50 years of commercial real estate experience. Since 2012, Boardwalk's investment strategy is to actively acquire, stabilize, and manage commercial real estate located in core, coastal markets in California.

Seeking a Full Time Licensed Security Guard to add to our growing security guard team in Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. The full time guard will patrol and monitor business and shopping centers surrounding the Newport Beach and Balboa Peninsula. The guard will be working roughly 40 hours each per week.

Qualified candidates must have a valid Guard Card, issued by the State of California.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrol commercial real estate properties to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
• Enforce towing guidelines.- Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed. (Create incident reports, obtaining prior authorization for access into common areas, monitoring for any solicitors, homeless, etc. and making sure Center is secure at all times.)
• Write reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed
• Provide shift postings, emergency preparedness, guest assistance, access control, and de-escalate hostile persons and situations.
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.
• Promote safe work practices
• Maintain the cleanliness of the center/centers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid security guard card in California
• Must have a clean DMV record and reliable transportation
• Previous experience in security
• Available to be on-call to assist with any issues, concerns, and/or questions
• Can work between 10:00AM to 10:00 PM and must have availability on Wednesday through Sunday.
