About This Position

Description:

Construction Administrative Coordinator

Are you ready to join a growing team? This position is for a Construction Administrative Coordinator with Construction expertise. As a growing company, you will support a varying number of projects at once for multiple Project Managers. We are a digital company and organize our project documents online in systems such as SharePoint, Autodesk, Asana and BuildingConnected. Our clients range from large publicly traded companies to school districts and municipalities. You are the hub of the wheel, and each project team is a spoke. You will have a pulse on all projects and teams. We are looking for someone who enjoys staying organized, has a high discipline to maintain project records, complete project records and is reliable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Obtaining and filing the required municipal permits, collecting and organizing necessary documentation, and maintaining the project schedule.

· Before the project begins, you contact different vendors and coordinate the bidding process to help select contractors and subcontractors.

· Prepare contracts and Purchase Orders for project subcontractors

· You track the project, verify the achievement of benchmarks, and make scheduling and contract adjustments as needed.

· During the project, you make sure to document each phase properly, provide billing support, and verify invoices.

· Other responsibilities may include tracking inventory and equipment to ensure that the project meets budget requirements.

· Other administrative tasks

Qualifications

· BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related degree

· Local to the Dallas, Texas area and able to commute daily

· Must be proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Must be detail-oriented with effective organizational skills

· Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and take initiative

Construction Qualifications

· Experienced in Autodesk (Required), Matterport (Preferred), BuildingConnected (Required)

Requirements:

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative/clerical or equivalent position in the design or construction management industry
  • Bilingual in spanish intermediate level (must pass skills tests before final interview)
