Tire & Lube Technician - $1,000 Sign-on bonus at Fox Rent A Car Inc. – Phoenix, Arizona

Fox Rent A Car is a subsidiary of Europcar Mobility Group USA, a significant player in the USA mobility markets. Europcar Mobility Group USA's mission is to be the preferred "Mobility Service Company in the USA" by offering attractive alternative solutions to short-term rentals and long-term vehicle usage, with a growing range of mobility related services.

We are currently looking to add an Automotive Tire and lube Technician to our team. As the Tire and lube Technician, you will be a vital member of the Operations Team.

You will:

• Perform technician duties such as changing oil and oil filters, rotating and balancing tires, repairing flats, and testing and installing batteries
• Inspect brakes, replace brakes, and handle minor electrical problems such as fuses, etc.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork and repair order logs
• Respond to spills and accidents as they occur, following company procedures and regulations for dealing with hazardous fumes and chemicals
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining safety standards, maintenance, and cleanliness, such as cleaning and maintaining the service area space equipment, and by keeping tools and supplies neat and organized
• Be dependable and reliable by being punctual and working the assigned shift
• Interact politely and effectively with customers and associates
• Complete any other assigned task delegated by Management

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or Technical school graduate
• Hold and maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to prioritize work and complete assignments within established timeframes and work routines
• Ability to read, write, and understand printed materials, such as manuals, application guides, required paperwork, reports, logs, and electronic media
• Be able to work in extreme conditions that can include weather, hazardous materials, and noise levels
• Work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and Holidays
• Be adaptable to daily changes in location needs.
• A basic set of hand tools preferred
