About This Position

Chief of Staff, New ProductsLocation: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid/Remote options available) Department: Product Reports to: VP of Product / CPO Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe're seeking a strategic and operationally excellent Chief of Staff to accelerate our new product initiatives and drive cross-functional execution. This role will serve as the right hand to our product leadership, orchestrating high-impact projects that will define the next chapter of our company's growth.As Chief of Staff for New Products, you'll be at the center of our most ambitious product launches, working directly with executive leadership to translate vision into reality. You'll thrive in ambiguity, excel at connecting dots across teams, and have an innate ability to get things done in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Execution
  • Partner with product leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product lines
  • Lead cross-functional project management for 0-to-1 product initiatives
  • Drive quarterly and annual planning processes for the new products organization
  • Synthesize market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback into actionable insights
Operational Excellence
  • Establish and optimize processes for product development, launch, and iteration
  • Coordinate between product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams
  • Manage executive communications, board reporting, and stakeholder updates
  • Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by leadership
Team & Culture Building
  • Support hiring and onboarding for the new products team
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across distributed teams
  • Drive culture of experimentation, learning, and rapid iteration
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
Business Intelligence
  • Monitor and analyze product metrics, user feedback, and market trends
  • Prepare executive briefings and decision-making materials
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market opportunity assessments
  • Support fundraising efforts and investor relations as needed
What You'll BringExperience & Background
  • 4-7 years of experience in product management, strategy consulting, or operations roles
  • Previous experience at high-growth tech companies (Series A-C preferred)
  • Track record of launching new products or leading 0-to-1 initiatives
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives and board members
Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (Notion, Slack, Figma, analytics platforms)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or consumer technology products
  • Previous startup experience, particularly in early-stage companies
  • Technical background or ability to work closely with engineering teams
  • Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
