MRI Tech Aide

Signature Healthcare’s Brockton Hospital is hiring for a Full-Time MRI Tech Aide in Brockton, MA.

Type: Full-Time Day Shift
Shift: Daytime (1st shift)
Shift Details: Monday-Friday, alternating weekends & holidays

MRI Aide Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Assists in the preparation of patients for imaging exams.

• Works under direct supervision of Licensed Imaging Technologist.

• Assists technologist with room preparation and room/equipment disinfection.

• Assists technologist with patient documentation in PACs/RIS.

• Ensures adequate supplies in the Imaging department and exam rooms.

• Works collaboratively with technologists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.

• Appropriately screening patients, guests and personnel to ensure safe entry into zones 2 through 4.

• Properly identifies and prepares patients for examinations, answers questions and/or refers to other appropriate personnel. 

• Updates patients and families on estimated wait times in the Department. Remains visible and proactive in meeting patient’s needs. 

• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• BLS certification
