Pharmacist - PRN in Ashtabula, Ohio at Ashtabula County Medical Center

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the medication use process to assure/assist in a timely, safe, efficient and cost-effective drug delivery system.
• Provides clinical services to optimize the effectiveness of patient s medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
• Provides drug information to the patient, and medical or nursing staff.
• Directly supervise the technical staff in all areas of pharmacy practice.

Requirements:

• One (1) year of previous experience in institutional pharmacy practice preferred.
• Knowledge of medication management in the hospital pharmacy practice setting.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Studies with 1-2 years of clinical experience will be considered in lieu of PharmD.
• Active license to practice pharmacy in The State of Ohio.
