Bee Tutored is currently seeking in-person, part-time academic tutors for all subjects and test prep areas. Ideal candidates are professional, responsive, empathic, and passionate about teaching.

Company Headquarters Location: Bee Tutored, established in 2008, is a premier boutique private tutoring company based in New York City.

Location: We offer K-12 individual at-home tutoring in Brooklyn and Manhattan, group classes in our classroom, and partner with schools to offer test prep classes.

Duties and responsibilities

We provide individualized instruction for students K-12 in a variety of subjects.

• collaborate with students, parents, and teachers to develop a customized program for each student
• provide feedback from each session to ensure student progress
• K-12 individual at-home tutoring, general academic support, test prep and support for parents navigating admission processes

Qualifications

Please only apply if you:

• willing to tutor in-person, remote tutoring is not an option
• have a strong tutoring/education background with 2+ years of tutoring experience
• have strong tutoring skills in both ELA and math test prep
• have strong test prep tutoring background with exams such as SHSAT/ISEE/TACHS/SAT/ACT and New York State Tests; specifically ELA & Math for 4th and 7th grades
• can travel to Brooklyn or Manhattan (specifically UWS)
• plus if you are a certified teacher
