RN Surgical

The Endoscopy RN:

• is accountable for the quality of nursing care rendered to patients
• assumes responsibility for assessing, diagnosing, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients.
• directs and supervises nursing care for patients in the gastroenterology setting.
• Is responsible for determining the competency level of assistive personnel to whom she/he is delegating patient care.

Graduate of school of nursing
Current Nursing license in the State of WV
Healthcare BLS validation within 60 days of hire with revalidation per AHA guidelines, ACLS validation within 1 year of employment with revalidation per AHA guidelines.

Previous experience in Endoscopy setting preferred.
