Billing Clerk

The Physician Billing Clerk oversees the scanning, charge entry, and error work queue management of all professional billings for Terrebonne General Medical Center’s owned, leased, or managed professional providers. The Physician Billing Clerk must communicate with physicians, practice managers, department managers, and staff daily to effectively and efficiently complete the revenue cycle process.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma
2. Previous experience with imaging equipment preferred
3. 3-5 year's office experience, preferably in healthcare billing environment
4. Familiarity with office automation products and healthcare patient accounting systems preferred.
