AAA - Advanced Practice Nurse at HealthcareSource Medical Center – Danville, New Hampshire

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) provides an advanced level of nursing care based upon graduate education and broad experience to the psychiatric patient and their families. The APN practices in collaboration with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. The APN practices within and conforms to the guidelines set by the Board of Nursing for the regulation of nurses in advanced practice certified as nurse practitioners/clinical nurse specialists. All methods of practice shall conform to written hospital policies, procedures, and protocols be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence in a manner demonstrating concern and consideration. The APN will demonstrate Barnabas philosophy to Total Quality Management by actively applying that philosophy in all dealings with both internal and external customers.

A. Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing required.

B. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center required.

C. Licensed by the Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and certified as a clinical nurse specialist in advanced practice with prescription authority required.

D. Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

E. Minimum two years experience preferred.
