About This Position

Job Summary
- Performs two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs. Responsible for daily operations of ultrasound equipment, report of equipment failure, and quality assurance. Maintains a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.
Regulatory Requirements
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT Sonography is required.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or Sonography, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Basic computer skills is required.
- Experience with EMR system preferably Meditech is required.
