Phlebotomist in Newburgh, New York at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall

Pay Range: $21.42 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience.

Collects blood specimens, according to physician orders, from emergency room patients and delivers the specimens to the laboratory for analysis. Performs a variety of duties, which include posting laboratory results on the patient's chart, filing laboratory results and computer order entry.

Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Formal training in phlebotomy. Able to read, write and communicate in English.

Experience: Phlebotomy experience and computer experience preferred.

Licensure, Registration or Certification: Phlebotomy certification or equivalent required; CPR preferred, ASCP preferred.
