Lead Teachers provide direct care to children and communication with parents. Plan and implement curriculum and environments that meet philosophy, goals and expectations of the organization. To contribute to an atmosphere that is cooperative within teaching teams and supportive to families. Job Requirements: 18 Credits in Early Childhood Education (3 credits must be in Child Growth and Development) and 18 months experience in a licensed child care setting, (Preferred: Bachelor degree in ECE or related field with a minimum of 18 credits in ECE and 3 years experience with age group), must be at least 21 years of age. First Aid and CPR certification, complete 18 hours of in-service professional development every 12 month period (as per NH Child Care program Licensing Rules), valid driver's license to drive children, five year history of safe driving required. Specific Skills and/or knowledge needed are: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, solve practical problems and situations where only limited standardization exists, and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. **Please submit an unofficial transcript with application submission.
