Billing Specialist in Anderson, South Carolina at AnMed

Responsible for billing commercial insurance for hospital and physician services billed by hospital; interactions with Medical Records department and hospital coders; some interactions with patients and insurance payers.

Qualifications: Requires High School Diploma or GED and computer experience. Prior electronic and/or hardcopy billing preferred but not required. Must have good communication skills. Collection experience preferred. Prior experience working with Government, State, and Commercial Insurance carriers helpful but not required.
