Supervisor - Environmental Services at Hannibal Regional Hospital – Hannibal, Missouri

Assist the Director to manage Hannibal Regional Healthcare System commercial cleaning, janitorial, waste removal, recycling, pest management, infection control and linen distribution programs. Trains team members and maintains full compliance with all Hannibal Regional Healthcare System policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations regarding infection control protocols, chemicals and waste disposal programs. Responsible for functions related to personnel efficiency and department performance under the direction of the Director of Environmental Services. - High School diploma or equivalent required - Two years previous housekeeping or similar experience required - Three year previous experience managing others required - Skilled and familiar with hospital environmental sanitation requirements and understand all cleaning and disinfection techniques - Ability to manage all hospital and commercial building, environmental sanitation, infection control, floor maintenance, waste disposal, recycling, and linen processing requirements - Familiar with all supplies, chemicals, and equipment used in the department - Ability to handle multiple projects without direct supervision - Efficiency in oral and written communication skills - Computer literacy - Knowledge of Hospital and commercial cleaning, waste removal and linen contractual agreements performance - Exceptional customer relation and communication skills including the ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and in interactions within all levels of the organization
