Job Title: Landscaping Laborer

Wage offered: $18.00-$21.00 depending on experience.

Job Overview: As a Landscaping Laborer, you will be performing basic landscaping tasks, i.e., applying mulch, lawnmowing, trimming, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facility Upkeep:

• Keep the gas station premises clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns
• Weeding and mulching landscape beds
• Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
• Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees
• Planting shrubs, flowers and trees
• Watering gardens, lawns and landscapes
• Monitoring and maintaining plant health

2. Safety Compliance:

• Ensure that safety protocols and guidelines are followed at all times.
• Have clear communication with Maintenance Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be able to read instructions and ask questions if assignment is unclear.
• Previous experience in landscaping or a similar role is desirable, and pay rate will be dependent upon skills/attendance.
• Ability to use a variety of landscaping tools safely and effectively.
• Valid driver's license and an ability to follow directions to all locations.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with other team members and management.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
• Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Working Conditions: The job involves working outdoors, and exposure to various weather conditions. The Landscape Laborer may need to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate inclement weather events. Number of hours per week is completely dependent upon the weather. This is not a guaranteed full time position. No work, no pay. Must be respectful of management and work on a team.
