At Beacon Veterinary Specialists, we’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Veterinary Care Coordinator. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring smooth workflows, fostering relationships, and helping to deliver exceptional patient care, with the added convenience of working from home!

*Please note that this remote role requires availability during Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) business hours.

As a Veterinary Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and low-stress experience for our clients and their pets. You will be supporting the doctor and staff in a variety of ways:

• Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, guiding them through the consultation and treatment process.

• Supporting doctors by managing schedules, confirming appointments, and ensuring that all necessary records are up to date.

• Assisting with client education, answering questions, and providing updates on patient progress.

• Working closely with our specialists to enhance patient care, ensuring that each client understands the treatment plan and has a positive experience.

• Verifying prescriptions for accuracy, finalizing and calling in medication requests, and ensuring all related documentation is properly communicated to clients.

• Coordinating with referring veterinarians, handling lab work, and ensuring that all medical information is accurately conveyed.

The Ideal Candidate Would Be:

• A compassionate communicator who can build relationships with clients.

• A veterinary technician or assistant with at least 3 years of experience in specialty or emergency care.

• Someone who is proactive, organized, and loves working independently.

• A team player who values the importance of every role in delivering exceptional care.
