The Access Intervenor Services (AIS) Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for coordinating, executing, and managing a variety of tasks within the AIS workflow software to facilitate requests for Intervenor Services from applicants. This position communicates with a wide range of stakeholders on an ongoing basis to support the effectiveness and success of the AIS process.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide ongoing communication to stakeholders regarding AIS processes, timelines, and application status. Review and screen applications to ensure completeness and alignment with established AIS eligibility criteria.
  • Scheduling of Assessments
  • Coordinate meetings with Assessors as required and take minutes
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the application process and address questions from agencies and applicants
  • Monthly touchpoint meetings with Sensity and Ministry of Children’s, Community and Social Services
  • Monthly reporting to DBNO board of directors including monthly statistics, documentation of ongoing issues, and recommendations
  • Liaison with technical support (Sandbox and 5-Nines)
  • Provide training and promotion of the AIS
  • Provide training and support to AIS Coordinator backup
  • Provide bi-weekly time reporting to Sensity Payroll

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post secondary education in a related field such as social services, disability studies, health administration, education, public administration, or office/business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative, coordination, or program support role, preferably within social services, accessibility, health, or education setting.
  • Experience reviewing applications or documentation and screening against established criteria, policies, or guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with applicants, service providers, committee members, and internal stakeholders. French language, ASL or LSQ an asset
  • Proven ability to work with database systems, workflow tools, or case‑management software, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, meeting minutes, issue tracking, and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling applications, records, and eligibility‑related information.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and in accordance with privacy and organizational policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Other:

  • This position involves working in a home or office setting and may require travel.

The pay range for this role is:
25 - 27.40 CAD per hour(Ontario)
