Support Staff & Barback - Host/ Food Runner in Middleton, Massachusetts at Maggie's Farm

Popular Maggie's Farm in Middleton is looking for Hosts/Food Runners and barbacks to join our team!

If you enjoy talking with people and being a part of a fun and dynamic team, this job is for you! We are looking for an experienced, responsible individual who is outgoing to personable.

This is an incredibly busy location! The right candidate will need to be able to stand on their feet for the length of your shift and, be extremely organized and have the ability to multi-task. You should also be outgoing, warm, gracious and excel at making others feel welcome.

What You’ll Do as a Food Runner at Maggie’s Farm

• Read and organize food tickets
• Identify dishes as they are plated and deliver food to the guests graciously and efficiently once all dishes are up for a table
• Assist the servers as needed
• Communicate effectively with both BOH and FOH employees

Barback Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting bartenders during service
• Stocking and maintaining bar area
• Running food for the bartenders
• Assisting with cleanliness and organization of the bar
• Helping create a positive guest experience

• Must be 16 or older for the Host/Food Runner position
• Must be 18 or older for the barback position
• Must be available to work 2-3 days a week
• Nights and weekend availability required
• Additional daytime shifts available during the summer
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently with a team
• Restaurant or bar experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person
