Social Media Strategist

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Office
Salary Range: $40,000 - $43,500 per year + performance bonuses

Role Overview

Killerspots.com is a growing marketing and creative agency seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Social Media Strategist to manage and coordinate social media content across multiple client accounts.

This role is responsible for ensuring social media content is planned, approved, scheduled, and published accurately and consistently while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal creative teams.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, organized, creative, comfortable on camera when needed, and highly reliable in a fast-paced agency environment.

We are looking for someone with a strong personality, positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a collaborative team environment. Candidates should be coachable, open to constructive feedback, and motivated to continue learning and growing within the company.

Reliable transportation and consistent in-office attendance are required.

Core ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Execution & Ownership
  • Manage day-to-day social media execution for assigned client accounts

  • Build and maintain monthly social media content calendars

  • Schedule and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and YouTube

  • Ensure all content aligns with approved messaging and brand standards

  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across all client accounts

  • Monitor engagement and identify basic performance trends and opportunities

Client Communication & Coordination
  • Communicate with clients regarding approvals, scheduling, content requests, and updates

  • Participate in client check-ins and content planning conversations

  • Clearly communicate posting schedules, revisions, and project status

  • Escalate higher-level strategy concerns or issues to leadership

Creative & Asset Coordination
  • Work closely with designers, video editors, and internal team members to coordinate creative assets

  • Utilize Canva and similar tools to assist with social content creation when needed

  • Ensure all assets are approved and delivered on schedule

  • Implement revisions accurately and efficiently

Workflow & Organization
  • Maintain all tasks, approvals, and deadlines inside Monday.com

  • Follow established workflows and agency processes

  • Keep project boards organized and up to date

  • Proactively communicate blockers, delays, or missing assets

If it is not in Monday.com, it does not exist.

Company Brand & Growth
  • Assist in building and growing Killerspots’ internal social media presence

  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, AI tools, and emerging content strategies

  • Participate as on-camera talent for company or client content when needed

  • Contribute ideas that improve engagement, consistency, and content quality

Required Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of social media management or content coordination experience

  • Agency experience preferred

  • Experience managing multiple brands or client accounts simultaneously

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Experience with Canva and social scheduling platforms

  • Comfortable using Monday.com or similar project management systems

  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven

  • Comfortable working within structure, deadlines, and processes

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends
