As Director of Business Operations, you will play a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of technology, strategy, and operational excellence. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will oversee the operational framework of a growing technical organization, driving efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional alignment. - Lead the development and execution of operational strategies that support business objectives, growth initiatives, and organizational scalability.
- Champion the adoption of AI-driven solutions across operational functions, identifying opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and data-informed decision-making.
- Partner with executive leadership to define and implement an AI operations roadmap, including technology evaluation, governance frameworks, and change management initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and SMART goals to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and measurable business outcomes.
- Foster collaboration across multiple departments to align priorities, streamline execution, and ensure successful delivery of strategic programs and initiatives.
- Prepare and communicate operational updates, business insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and resource management activities while identifying opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Oversee risk management, business continuity planning, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including emerging AI governance considerations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or operational leadership within a technology-focused environment.
- Demonstrated experience implementing or championing AI technologies, automation initiatives, generative AI tools, or intelligent workflow solutions in a professional setting.
- Proven success leading complex cross-functional programs, including technology, product development, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Strong understanding of operational management, program management methodologies, strategic planning, and organizational performance frameworks.
- Experience managing budgets, resource allocation, risk assessments, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale business initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, combined with a collaborative and influential working style.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.
- Annual total compensation ranging from $165,000 to $230,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
- Remote work opportunity within eligible U.S. states.
