As Director of Business Operations, you will play a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of technology, strategy, and operational excellence. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will oversee the operational framework of a growing technical organization, driving efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional alignment. This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute AI-powered operational strategies, leveraging emerging technologies to improve productivity and business performance. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across product, engineering, finance, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives. Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of operational strategies that support business objectives, growth initiatives, and organizational scalability.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-driven solutions across operational functions, identifying opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define and implement an AI operations roadmap, including technology evaluation, governance frameworks, and change management initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and SMART goals to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple departments to align priorities, streamline execution, and ensure successful delivery of strategic programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare and communicate operational updates, business insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, financial planning, and resource management activities while identifying opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee risk management, business continuity planning, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including emerging AI governance considerations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or operational leadership within a technology-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or championing AI technologies, automation initiatives, generative AI tools, or intelligent workflow solutions in a professional setting.
  • Proven success leading complex cross-functional programs, including technology, product development, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of operational management, program management methodologies, strategic planning, and organizational performance frameworks.
  • Experience managing budgets, resource allocation, risk assessments, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale business initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, combined with a collaborative and influential working style.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.
Benefits
  • Annual total compensation ranging from $165,000 to $230,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
