Master Esthetician in Layton, Utah at Tanner Memorial Clinic

Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a part-time Master Esthetician at our Layton Parkway clinic.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The Master Esthetician will collaborate with onsite physicians and be responsible for delivering exceptional skincare treatments, assessing patients' needs, recommending personalized skincare regimens, and growing the esthetics services in the community.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in providing a wide range of esthetic services, with a specific focus on skin resurfacing and laser hair removal.

• Perform Esthetic Treatments: Administer a variety of aesthetic treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and body treatments, to clients with precision and care.
• Laser Hair Removal: Perform hair removal treatments with expertise, ensuring client comfort and safety while achieving effective results.
• Patient Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to assess patients' skincare needs, discuss treatment options, and recommend personalized skincare regimens.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest skincare products and technologies and educate patients on skincare products and routines to maintain results between treatments.
• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, follow proper sanitation protocols, and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
• Documentation: Keep accurate patient records, treatment notes, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Continuing Education: Stay current with industry trends and seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
• Patient Scheduling: Assist with scheduling patients and follow up as needed.
• Other Duties as Assigned

Education:

• Master Esthetician License: Must hold a valid Master Esthetician license in Utah.
• Laser Hair Removal Certification: 2 or more years of experience (preferred) in laser hair removal procedures.

Experience:

• 2 or more years of experience (preferred) as a Master Esthetician, with a strong portfolio of successful treatments.

Knowledge:

• Products: Proficiency in skincare products and their ingredients.

Skills:

• Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric attitude.

Abilities:

• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and represents Tanner Clinic with reliability, respect, and confidentiality.

Work Environment:

• Well-lit med spa within medical clinic. Constant access to onsite supervising physician.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to transition from sitting to standing frequently throughout the day.
• Must be able to hold medical equipment for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed.
• Visual acuity to review and enter data on a computer screen.
