The role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of Epic Clarity, SQL-based analytics, and healthcare revenue cycle operations who enjoys transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights. You will contribute directly to process optimization initiatives while helping maintain accurate, reliable, and enterprise-level reporting standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and data-driven healthcare environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain certified datasets that serve as centralized sources for revenue cycle KPIs, operational reporting, and executive dashboards.
  • Analyze hospital and professional billing workflows to identify inefficiencies, operational gaps, and opportunities for revenue cycle optimization.
  • Create and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SQL, Tableau, Crystal Reports, and related analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including billing, coding, finance, and clinical teams to validate data integrity and support process improvement efforts.
  • Apply relational database concepts, OLAP technologies, and data modeling techniques to support large-scale healthcare analytics initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity), providing technical guidance and analytical support across departments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends or anomalies, and present actionable recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Support governance initiatives related to standardized reporting structures, certified datasets, and enterprise data quality practices.

Requirements:

  • Active Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity) Certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within healthcare revenue cycle operations, including exposure to clinical and financial workflows.
  • Strong understanding of both hospital billing and professional billing data, processes, and reporting structures.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Crystal Reports, and healthcare reporting tools.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, data modeling principles, and OLAP technologies.
  • Experience analyzing complex healthcare datasets and translating findings into operational and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail within high-volume data environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience within large health systems or multi-entity healthcare organizations is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with additional revenue cycle analytics platforms beyond Epic is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $78,000 to $113,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
  • Fully remote work environment offering flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful healthcare analytics and revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Exposure to enterprise-level healthcare systems, reporting technologies, and data-driven operational strategies.
  • Collaborative and forward-thinking workplace culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Professional development opportunities to expand technical and healthcare analytics expertise.
  • Meaningful work contributing to operational efficiency and improved healthcare financial performance.
  • Stable and supportive environment with opportunities for long-term career growth.
