Role Description : Sales Representative - 1099
Core Responsibilities
Prospect builders, contractors, developers, interior designers, and remodelers
Conduct jobsite visits, takeoffs, and lunch-and-learn presentations
Manage pipeline in CRM; meet or exceed monthly revenue targets
Coordinate hand-off to internal designers and operations teams
Required Qualifications
Category Details
Sales Experience
3+ years B2B sales—preferably building materials, residential construction, or related
Existing Network
Demonstrated relationships with SoCal builders, contractors, interior designers, architects, remodelers
Technical Skills
Comfortable reading construction drawings; can measure plans and relay specs
Tools
Proficiency with a mainstream CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.); confident with iPad/Excel quoting tools
Soft Skills
Hunter mentality, self-starter, strong negotiation & closing skills, excellent follow-through
Mobility
Reliable car, valid CA driver’s license, proof of insurance, clean DMV record
Preferred / Nice to Have
Familiarity with cabinet lines or other finish products (flooring, millwork, etc.)
Experience bidding multi-unit residential projects
Willingness to attend evening networking events and regional trade shows
OSHA 10 certification or similar jobsite safety awareness
Physical / Other
Must be able to transport sample doors, sample cabinet and literature (≈ 30 lbs)
