About the Role
The Head of Administration and Finance provides strategic leadership for Stellar Industries’ finance, administration, purchasing, compliance, business systems, and IT functions, with responsibility for financial reporting, cost control, process modernization, and operational support for company growth. The position is also responsible for modernizing all administrative and financial functions and developing short and long-term cost models to support strategic planning.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
What You Get to Do
• Plans, directs, and executes all administrative and finance functions of the company
• Manages 5 direct reports, including a Sr. Controller
• Provides financial reports and statements to management
• Organizes the development of budgets, reports actuals vs budget, analyzes variances
• Develops and maintains production cost models for a mixed job shop/volume manufacturing environment
• Responsible for the business systems used for accounting, for example Sage and Realtrac software
• Responsible for leading the implementation of a new ERP/MRP system
• Responsible for overseeing the IT operations, including CMMC compliance
• Analyzes current administrative practices and recommends and implements changes as needed
• Implement and execute a system of controls to meet compliance goals
• Prepare internal and external compliance reports
• File quarterly and annual reports with government agencies
• Lead and support continuous improvement efforts
About You
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting, or equivalent experience
• 7 years or more of accounting and finance experience
• Proven track record of setting up new business processes and affecting change
• Significant experience with manufacturing cost accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent supervisory skills
• Experience with the introduction of new software tools
• Knowledge of Realtrac ERP, Epicor and/or SAP B1 is helpful
• Excellent Excel skills

• For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $137,000 to $191,000 US Dollars (USD), Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Bonus Plan based on the Company’s performance in the prior fiscal year.
• Employees will accrue up to 128 hours of paid time off every year.
• Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
