Position: Warehouse Operations Lead
Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager
Role:
As a Warehouse Operations lead, you help improve team performance by keeping daily work organized, priorities clear, and product flow moving efficiently. You take ownership of a designated product department while supporting team members to complete tasks accurately, consistently, and on time. Through clear communication, hands-on support, and proactive problem-solving, you help remove barriers, reduce errors, and improve overall department productivity. You set a positive example on the floor and help create a focused, accountable team environment that supports warehouse goals, store readiness, and overall business results.
Responsibilities:
- Support the team in achieving daily department targets by organizing work, clarifying priorities, and helping maintain steady product flow.
- Model and reinforce standard operating procedures to improve consistency, accuracy, and accountability across the department.
- Guide team members in unboxing, organizing, counting, and receiving merchandise efficiently while maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Support the team in stickering, sorting, and preparing merchandise to meet quality, accuracy, and presentation expectations.
- Help ensure merchandise is distributed to the correct store locations and final warehouse destinations while reducing errors, rework, and missed priorities.
- Maintain and encourage clean, organized work areas that support team productivity, safety, and efficient workflow.
- Identify workflow gaps, communicate improvement opportunities, and help implement practical changes that strengthen department performance.
- Partner with the Warehouse Supervisors on inbound/outbound inventory planning to help the team understand priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
- Promote consistent LWW procedures, guidelines, and policies to support a reliable, productive, and accountable team environment.

Qualifications:
- Min 2 years experience in a related warehouse position
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Engineered Labour Standards an asset
- Ability to speak to large teams, communicate information and listen effectively
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and be a cheerleader for the team
- Experience creating and maintaining a Safety-first culture
- Experience and willingness to mentor and coach others
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving
