We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the complete laundry cycle to ensure our rental properties are stocked with clean, well-maintained linens and towels. This position supports our Housekeeping and Operations Team.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all laundry items including bed linens, towels, and other textiles from sorting, stain removal, washing, drying and folding
- Sort items by fabric type, color, and washing requirements
- Operate commercial washing machines and dryers efficiently
- Fold all items according to company standards
- Organize and stock clean laundry in designated storage areas
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and handle accordingly
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report when restocking is needed
- Adhere to cleaning schedules to ensure timely turnovers
- Keep laundry facilities clean and organized
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Follow proper lifting
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous laundry experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to bend and lift
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Basic organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with good time management
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Physical ability to push and pull up to 40 lbs
Compensation and Benefits:
- $22-$24 per hour
